Melonie Holloway was born July, 11, 1963 in Birmingham, Alabama. She moved to Dallas, Texas at the young age of 20, as a Marketing representative for a large restaurant chain, and met the love of her life. The two were married 2 months after meeting, and still going strong after 26 years. Melonie and Jim have 5 children, they live in Sunland, California, and worship in a powerful ministry, The Dream Center and Angelus Temple.

Serving the Lord is the central focus of the Holloway family. God has allowed Melonie the privilege of staying home to raise all the children. Home schooling has offered the family the freedom of traveling, working, and doing ministry together.

In Saint Petersburg, Florida, Melonie founded and ran a non-profit organization for homeless children, “Camp Joy”. The whole family served in this ministry from 2000 - 2008. At the age of 20, Melanie’s oldest daughter Katie, left the “nest” to take the family vision to Los Angeles, Ca., where she formed her own non-profit, for homeless youth, “Camp Joy, LA” and “The Avenue”.

Now living in one of the most exciting cities in the world, Melonie desires to be a part of the artistic, creative, industry and culture that inspires the world every day.

Melonie has a discernment when meeting people, that recognizes their greatest potential. She celebrates each new relationship and strives to elevate and thrust forward their gifts and talents.

Not wasting one chance meeting, Melonie has brought together an awesome powerful group of unique individuals to create, produce, write, cast, direct, film, edit, market, and prosper in a comedy production “Makin It”.
